BE A LEAPER: NO SPECIAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Do not get the wrong idea. Just about anything that gets someone jumping more often or developing lower body strength is going to contribute to some degree of increase in vertical leap. There are all sorts of techniques as well as specialty equipment that will help virtually anyone become a better jumper.
But the fact is that there is no single secret item or product that is going to turn an average jumper into an amazing leaper. If that were the case, everyone would know it, everyone would use it and everyone would be jumping so high they would touch the sky, so to speak.
Take for instance what is often referred to as the power jump platform. This is a device upon which an athlete stands wearing a waist or shoulder harness that is attached to a platform beneath his feet with latex resistance tubes. The athlete jumps up in the air against the resistance provided by the tubes, thus developing lower body jumping muscle structure. An interesting contraption that has got to be helpful to some degree, not to mention expensive and cumbersome. But it is not necessary or required equipment.
Then there are the jump soles which are designed to be attached to athletes shoes. They are designed to force the development of the calf muscles and Achilles and they do so with measured efficiency. With proper use the targeted areas will get stronger and better trained, no doubt. These are also somewhat costly considering that they are made of rubber with Velcro straps and are one size fits all. Although not to the same degree as a power platform, these devices are cumbersome nonetheless. Also not a necessary or required item.
Most often made of metal or wood, there are also the sets of plyometric boxes that are often used in jump training. Regardless whether you buy them or make them, they are expensive, difficult to store and generally break down over time. These come in varying sizes and are used to jump onto, off of or both. Like the items already mentioned, these boxes are of value but as has also been the case so far, they are not necessary or required equipment.
Let's not forget the specially designed strength development machines, of which there are an amazingly wide variety, that can be found in most good weight rooms and fitness facilities. In the case of these machines, we are talking significant cost, very cumbersome to move and generally useless for anything else. This stuff can help as well but there is no need to go that route.
The list goes on but the fact is that beyond the possible exception of a simple jump rope, there is no specialty equipment that will blow up a vertical jump. All of it can help, none of it will transform the user into a leaper all by itself. In other words, an athlete can spend a lot of money and devote a lot of time to these kinds of training aides and get very little return on such a large investment.
The dirty little secret as to what is required to grow vertical leap by at least ten inches or more is both simple and obvious. The only way to get there is to get involved in very comprehensive training that address all of the areas associated with jumping. Leave anything out, as the options noted above all do, and there is no way to reach ones full vertical leap potential. Inadequate training, although helpful, will generate only partial outcomes.
There is no magic pill or secret gimmick that will turn average, or even below average, jumpers into eye popping leapers outside of comprehensive vertical jump training. A link is provided below for your review to the type of program that is necessary to generate major results. It will give you an idea of the actual path to follow to become a big time jumper.
The way to develop better hops is primarily comprised of knowledge of proper training along with a willingness to do the work required. The expense of specialty equipment is only a market driven factor. It is not important to the journey to a much higher jump reach.

HOW TO GET COACHES TO NOTICE YOU
In most instances, tryouts involve far more candidates for a team than there are spots available to be on that team. Thus the stress of tryout time. Obviously it is especially tough on those who have their hearts set on being a team member but in the end are not chosen. That outcome is both disappointing and painful.
So there are plenty of would be participants looking for ways to get an edge during and after tryouts. That goal calls for a bit of strategic planning. Good outcomes do not happen simply because someone wants them to happen. If there are 30 prospects vying to secure 15 spots, half of that group are surely not going to make it. It takes more than good intentions to be in the top 15.
From a strategic standpoint, what can be done to get an edge that the coaches who are selecting the team will notice without fail? That is the key question. It has to be an edge that clearly stands out so as to distinguish a prospect from all of the other candidates.
In most sports, be it football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, track, gymnastics and so on, the ability to leap is a tangible edge for an athlete. More to the point, it is a very noticeable skill that tends to stand out over more commonly seen talents. In other words, those who can jump high get noticed. And not just by coaches but by literally everybody.
A soaring vertical jump attracts attention and, as already mentioned, tends to give those who have it a real edge over most competitors. Thus the shortcut to getting noticed by those who will decide which athletes make the squad is to just plain get up in the air above the rest of the field.
Doing that requires some serious training but it can be done. Virtually any athlete can add ten inches or more to their vertical jump if they get into a regimen that has already accomplished that for hundreds of others.
It needs to be a routine that is specifically focused on the factors that are directly involved in jumping. Furthermore, it must be a program that has been put together by an expert who has done the research necessary and has applied the accumulated information to a variety of athletes with documented success.
Lots of athletes and coaches have some first hand experience with jumping and have been exposed to a few drills or routines that will help improve leaping skills. But very few in the athletic world have specialized in the science of the jump let alone translated that knowledge into user friendly, practical training that can be done by almost anyone in just about any location.
Getting involved in that kind of system can take an athlete to unknown heights. When that kind of advantage is applied to most sports, the results are eye popping and, more to the point, eye catching. An example of that kind of training can be evaluated by following the link below. It will give the reader an idea of what to look for in their search for a way to get up to the next level.
The message here is simple. To get coaches to notice you versus the rest of the crowd, it is a good idea to be able to present exceptional skill development in an area that would be of value to the team. Choosing to excel at skills already common exhibited within the crowd diminishes the value of said development. However, choosing a skill that is more rare gets one more immediately noticed and displays some tangible value to the coaches and to the advantage of the team.
To get selected means you have to first plan and second work. It can be done.

IS BEING A BIG TIME LEAPER JUST A PIPE DREAM?
Virtually everyone in the non leaper category believes in their heart of hearts that they will never have a big vertical jump, regardless of their dreams or aspirations. Worse yet, when they are told that what they believe to be impossible is in fact doable, they scoff at the source and consider such claims to be false or wildly inflated.
For those who have never gotten the memo, understand that belief is an incredibly powerful force. For instance, for those who firmly believe that they will never win the lottery actually never do. But the dirty little secret to that self-fulfilling prophecy is revealing. Those who know for sure that they will not win the lottery, do not enter the lottery. Thus they cement their fate.
Although a bit extreme, that example is emblematic of the power of belief. There are a zillion examples of that power but suffice it to say in this instance that if you know for sure that you will never be a leaper, guess what? Either you will not even try or your efforts will only be half hearted and fail due to lack of conviction, poor training, absence of proper knowledge and bad habits.
The message here is clear. If you are among those who do not believe that you can become a way better than average jumper than you simply need abandon ship. There is no hope for you.
But if you are among those smart enough to understand the power of belief, you will in fact grow yourself into an eye popping leaper. Guaranteed.
Should you get into a quality vertical jump development program, the increase in your jump reach will be a minimum of ten inches. That's right, close to a one foot higher vertical. Although it is true that if you do not believe in such outcomes you will either not attempt them or you will sabotage your own efforts. However, know for sure that things may start with belief but it will take a lot more than just belief to get to where you want to go.
First and foremost you will need the proper training techniques. A quality program includes many and to get to a big increase in jump you will need to both know them and do them. It takes time, although not a lot, and it takes work. The very good news is that you will begin to generate measurable and frankly really encouraging results almost immediately. It is not unusual to move up as much as two to four inches in the first two weeks.
When you have a valid, tested system and you stick with it the ten inches or more increase will come within three months. Note that does not mean highly intense and extensive training every day. Good vertical programs are not about endurance, they are about the development of explosive power. Proper training includes rest and recovery.
Such training also includes nutrition and correct form along with a number of other key factors. Once you know what those factors are and how to train for each of them you will be well on your way to better hops. At that point you only need add the sweat equity to make the leaper dream a reality.
One comprehensive jump development that meets these standards is linked below for your review. It provides an excellent example of the kind of program that will add ten inches or more to your vertical.
All the while, keep in mind the single most important point in this matter. The only way to get to the next level of performance is to set that goal and believe there is a way to get there. Armed with that belief you will find what you need to reach the goal. Remember that without belief there will be no success. Set your goal, believe in yourself and start the journey.

SIMPLE PATH TO A HUGE INCREASE IN VERTICAL JUMP
In fact, there is a simple and direct path to achieving a huge increase in vertical jump. It requires work, no doubt. It requires that you know what you are doing for sure. But it is entirely doable. Many have already gotten there. It is fact, not fiction.
Along with a willingness to work, what is required is the application of the proper principles based upon the established science. That is not complicated or difficult. Instead, it is correct and simple. Thus success need not be complicated. Rather, when it comes to better hops, it is surprisingly straight forward.
Any athlete wanting to substantially grow their vertical must understand the power of simplicity. There are too many claims that a better leap requires a room full of special equipment or super supplements or nonstop training. Here is the most important point to remember when seeking to jump higher: keep it simple.
Here are the things that are not required when seeking a jump development training:
1. Expensive specialized jump shoes;
2. Big, heavy jump platforms;
3. Specialized weights or strength development equipment;
4. Costly daily supplements;
5. Hydro-pool baths.
Can any or all of those help? Sure, along with a boat load of additional gimmicks. But none of them are necessary to add ten inches to a vertical leap.
What is helpful is to consider the following questions before you choose a training regimen:
-Why try to reinvent the wheel when it comes to better hops when others have already blazed the trail for you and found the quickest, easiest way to success?
-Why spend a lot of money on things that are not necessary and make little if any difference? In today's economy, the value of something that is tried and true makes a lot of sense.
-Why look for something that is unusually complicated, confusing or full of hype when there are well established, proved programs that are straightforward and very cost effective?
So here are the things to look for in a valid jump improvement program:
1. It needs to address all of the components involved in the process of growing your vertical, of which there are nine. In other words, look for a comprehensive systematic approach;
2. It should provide the security and the confidence of a full money back guarantee. More importantly, there should be access not only to the usual testimonials but to direct contact with users who are already in training;
3. There must be one on one mentoring included so that you get all questions answered and all challenges addressed;
4. A valid program is based upon the combination of science and experience. Both must be in evidence;
5. It ought to be easy to use, available for immediate access and be reasonably priced;
6. It should not require specialty equipment, supplements, endless daily training routines or dependency on the physical presence of a personal trainer.
Although growing a better vertical requires hard work and commitment, it is neither complex nor expensive. The link that follows leads to a program that fits the criteria listed and is worthy of consideration by those who are serious about a very large increase in vertical jump.
However, regardless of the path chosen remember that simple is both more effective and more efficient. Really growing better hops, as every experienced athlete knows, provides a valuable edge in the arena of competitive sports.

2 KEYS TO VERTICAL LEAP IMPROVEMENT
Sometimes just a little bit of information, even when one hundred percent accurate, can become fundamentally counter productive. Far too many of those experts out there suffer from a simple problem: they do not know what they do not know. That can become a real negative.
The focus of this article is on two of the key factors involved in the development of a much higher jump reach. The information is based in science and long time experience and is taken from a well established jump training expert.
It is important to note up front that these key factors are but just two of all of the major factors that must be addressed and trained on in order to achieve huge improvement in vertical leap. So this information is just but a smaller part of what is required to get way better. Never-the-less, these are keys.
The first centers around a concept that is commonly referred to as game speed. That would reference the intensity level that is not only required but also normally expended in the course of head to head athletic competition. We are not talking warm-ups here. We are addressing the physical effort that it takes to win when the game is on the line and the score is being kept.
It is amazing that there are many athletes who will practice their skills and fundamentals, their tactics and strategies, at less than full speed. As a matter of fact, there are a notable number of athletes who literally believe that practicing at one speed and playing at another is useful training. How foolish!
In most sports, success is mostly based on reactive ability. Reactions are based upon habits. Habits are build in practice and become automatic through what seems like endless training. To train in half speed reactive ability is nonsensical. The habits that will manifest themselves in the heat of competition are those that are trained in during practice. Half speed training leads to half speed competitive reactive ability. A fools plan indeed.
The old saying is spot on: As you practice, so do you play. In the case of vertical leap improvement, that means you most only train at levels of high intensity should you want to gain ten inches or more on your vertical. Literally each repetition of each and every exercise must be treated as a distinct and separate event. Since most training out there is to fatigue, this type of proper training seems counter intuitive. However, getting it right is critical.
The second key factor is the one most often overlooked. It is the matter of nutrition. So many athletes will skill train with an awareness of almost everything but nutrition. Yet everyone has to acknowledge that proper nutrition is fundamental to maximizing success. Real strength development takes place much more during meals than it does during workouts. Developing explosive strength is based upon the right nutrient and energy profile in your body, not upon the black iron in a weight room.
The fact is that if most athletes maintained their current training program and changed nothing other than their nutrition, they would be dumb founded by their increased results. Good nutrition is central to developing big time hops and any vertical training program worth pursuing includes this very important component.
Although this seems simple and should go without saying, most vertical jump reach development programs do not emphasize these two key factors. In fact, any program lacking either one of these (let alone both) is simply not worth pursuing. The link below leads to a program that has both components embedded within a very comprehensive approach to jump development. It is available for your review.
Regardless of how you proceed, make sure to attend to the game speed and nutritional steps when training to grow better hops. Leave them behind and gaining ten inches or more on your vertical will border on impossible.

ADVICE FOR ATHLETES DRIVEN TO DUNK
"Basically, my dream is to dunk. I will do anything to slam that spherical object. I am 14 and 6-0 tall, muscular, have been weight training (whole body) seriously since I was 12, and have been doing plyometric training since December '07. I have had plenty of personal trainers and know my way around a gym. I have a home gym fitted with a standard bench, Swiss ball, medicine ball free weights, adjustable weights, and the Vectra II Home Gym System. I have a lot of free space in my basement and flat backyard. For plyometric training, I have pants that weights can be slipped into, a jump rope, and the Strength(R) Shoe (basically a comfortable shoe with a platform on the toe section)."
"I've been working on my vertical jump for months. Besides Upper Body and Abs, its all I'm planning to do on the basketball off season. I had a personal trainer teach me the basics and gave me the following workout, which I have increased in weight a bit. (roughly):
You'll find that it is quite basic and is lacking a lot of plyo.
4 sets of Leg Press - 195 pounds - 20 reps
4 sets of squatting jump; jump as high as you can off 2 legs - 20 reps
3 sets of Step-Ups - 20 pounds in each hand - 20 reps (40 for both legs)
3 sets of Split Jumps (not too good at them)
3 sets of Squats - 20 reps - 50 pounds (I know.....)
2 sets of Lunges 30 pounds in each hand - 40
2 sets of Hip flexors - 25 pounds - 20 reps
3 sets of Leg Extensions 110 pounds - 20 reps
2 sets of hamstring curls - 30 pounds - 20 reps
jump rope
I then do a long ab workout which I don't care to list."
"Mon cardio
Tues Upper Body
Wed cardio
Thurs rest
Fri above workout
Sat Upper Body
Sun above workout."
"I am very good shape, good endurance, and was easily the fastest on my team, and was starting center for my freshman team. I am very dedicated to exercising and manage my time very well. I also joined spring track and ran XC. I am asking you guys for help on a very fast working, brutal vertical jump program so that I can dunk, gain confidence, and make varsity as a sophomore."
Although both admirable and well intended, the process illustrated by this example is wrong headed on so many different levels. For instance:
1. Dunking is not a prerequisite to qualifying for a varsity basketball team. Fundamentals and skill development would be much more valuable in achieving that goal;
2. A young person ages 12-14 is too young for all that sophisticated training. Most young bodies that age are not yet developed enough for serious training to be of value;
3. The bevy of personal trainers involved here apparently do not know much about really developing vertical leap in a meaningful way. Relative to the stated goal, these trainers are a waste of time and money;
4. This is a clear case of over training that will be great for the development of endurance but not much help for big progress with vertical jumping;
5. Training for explosive jumping power is missing. Without it, there is little chance for a dunk in this players future;
6. At least six of the nine areas of jump development that must be addressed to make worthwhile gains are also missing.
There is no doubt that what this youngster is doing will help improve his hops. But investing all the time, energy, sweat equity and money in the process he outlines and achieving maybe a four inch jump reach improvement is not worth it by any measure. Especially since it is done at the sacrifice of the fundamentals and skills so essential to hoop success.
Were he to do things properly, he could add a minimum of ten inches to his vertical, become a power dunker and spend far less time and money getting there. That would leave plenty of opportunity to work on the other aspects of his game that would help him qualify for the varsity.
He needs a vertical improvement program based on the expertise of both science and practical experience to be a dunker and a member of the varsity team. The link below provides a summary of just such a program. It would obviously get him to where he wants to go. How about you?

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNET MARKETING
Unfortunately, the answer is that it depends. An on-line retail business can have complicated legal requirements associated with it like licensing, sales tax collection and reporting regulations.
On the other hand an Internet marketing business can be a very simple and direct path to follow to own a web based entrepreneurial activity.
For the purposes of this article, let's examine the world of affiliate marketing since it can produce an income stream with minimal up front costs and very little regulation.
Representing the products of others requires no stock, no shipping, no sales tax issues and no reporting requirements.
Products are offered and sold through independent entities like Click Bank where any affiliate marketer can register, pick products to market and collect commissions.
Under such circumstances, the producer is responsible for product shipping and the Click Bank like operation processes the sale for the customer as well as sends out the commission to the marketer along with the profit to the producer.
The Click Banks keep all of the necessary records of the transactions, issue the checks or wires and provide the year end reporting for tax purposes. In other words, much of the busy work required of any small business person is supplied basically free of charge to the marketer. Hard to beat that kind of deal.
At the end of the day, there is not much required of the business person who operates as the affiliate marketer. However, there is some wisdom in doing the following.
To be in business, be a business. Form an entity of some type. You can choose to be a Sole Proprietor or even a Corporation. The details of such choices are not to be addressed here but it is easy enough to research the pros and cons of each as well as get advice from professionals like a CPA.
Entity formation has a lot to do with paying state and federal income taxes which, as we all know, are legally unavoidable. When registering with the Click Bank type operations a marketer is required to supply either their social security number or the tax ID number of their company. There is no escaping the long arm of the tax man since income will be reported for you.
Beyond that there is little else the law requires other than the possibility of a business license that your local government might want. That can easily be checked out by a call to your local Chamber of Commerce.
Thus affiliate marketing can get you into business for very little up front expense and can begin generating income almost immediately. More significantly, as you become a better marketer and expand the number of products you represent, that income stream can grow exponentially.
Because the trend in business start ups is increasingly toward doing business on-line, it would seem that the smart and easy way to launch would be with affiliate marketing. It represents the classic low risk, high reward business model that most every business person seeks.
Beyond that, it is the kind of business that can be started in one's spare time so that current income sources can remain undisturbed, at least in the short run. Should the affiliate marketing business grow to the point of providing a sustainable income, it can than become a full time focus.
With little legal red tape to deal with and not much investment required, affiliate marketing provides the first and arguably the most important step into the world of doing business on the Internet. The link below is provided to showcase one such first step opportunity. You are invited to take the time to review the world of being an affiliate marketer.
After all, it might just be a glimpse into the future of your own on-line business.

HOW TO STICK TO A HEALTHY EATING DIET
Set aside all of the gimmick diets, the pill diets, the celebrity says it works diets along with all of the other illegitimate weight reduction programs on the market and focus instead on the few really valid dieting routines that are available. In other words, when you just look at the good systems, why do people so often fail when using those diets?
There is one major underlying issue that more often than other factors, tends to corrupt our goal to lose weight. Almost every diet has this simple issue with which to contend. Very few weight reduction programs can or do avoid it.
Namely, it is the issue of the food that most diets require us dieters to consume. Given our tastes, the vast majority of what we must eat to lose weight is not on our list of favorite foods.
After all, how many people cannot wait to get their hands on some celery, cauliflower or brussel sprouts? Do we really pine away for another carrot? Does just plain dry toast get your juices flowing? For most of us, I think not.
And that is just to mention a very few examples. Than there is the banned foods list. No snack food. No baked goods, especially deserts. No fast food. No soda pop or sweet juice drinks. As we all have experienced, the list goes on.
Thus at the end of the day, dieting has it's own built in self-destruct button. Attempting to stick to a healthy eating diet requires immense self-discipline against non-stop temptation. Not to mention our well cultivated, built in weaknesses for many of the foods on the banned list.
In the short term, say for a few weeks or even a month, we tough it out and in the process manage to shed some pounds. But we hate the process and end up stressing ourselves in order to lose some excess fat weight. Worse yet, once the dieting period is over we go back to our old habits, which we have not yet managed to change, and more often than not put the lost weight back on over time. How frustrating and self-deflating.
Closely related to the foods we eat issue is the matter of the tiny menu portions that most diets require. We end up on elf food, most of which we do not much like, and these factors in combination end up driving a stake into the heart of our weight loss plan.
The self-defeating nature of most diet routines is just plain silly. When you stand back and really examine what is going on, it makes little sense. When you consider that on top of it all most of us pay good money to go through this madness, it would appear that we have lost our collective minds.
In an effort to return to sanity, we need to identify what it will take to stick to a healthy eating diet outside of the sheer torture of enforced discipline. The truth is, get this, it is not that hard and it can be done simply and stress free.
The secret is to get on a diet that is based upon the foods you like to eat, within reason of course. A pizza, ice cream and beer diet will not really work.
Further, make it a diet that can provide literally thousands of menus based upon the foods you like and do that in a user friendly fashion.
Finally, it needs to be a diet based upon more than three meals a day. When we eat smaller portions more often we do two very important, natural things relative to our bodies.
1. We avoid hunger pangs and more fully control our appetite.
2. We turn on the natural fat burning process within our systems to help reduce body fat content.
A variety of menus based upon foods we like to eat, consumed more often during the day becomes a no stress, high outcome weight loss program. One such diet routine can be reviewed at the link that follows so that you can learn more about how all of this works.
The good news is that it can be easy to stick to a healthy eating diet. We just need to know what we are doing.

MEASURED IN INCHES, WHAT IS A GOOD VERTICAL JUMP REACH?
The lingering question among a lot of athletes has been and continues to center on those very measurements. When all is said and done, what is the measurement range that is considered good for a vertical jump reach?
To address that question it is both important and helpful to identify all of the jump reach measurement ranges so that anyone can get an idea as to where they fall on the vertical spectrum. What follows is a brief summary of vertical jump categories that would include most athletes.
- 22 inches or less falls into the poor to fair category.
- 22 to 28 inches is a fair to good range and likely reflects where the average athlete is found.
- 28 to 34 inches is considered a very good range. It means that an athlete in this category currently jumps higher than the average NBA player.
- 34 inches or more is just plain outstanding. Once in this range, an athlete is an exceptional jumper, maybe even a leaper.
Keep in mind that these kinds of measurements are only legitimate if the jump reach in question is that of a physically mature individual. An immature body will not reflect the results that can be gained once someone reaches a more fully developed stage of life. For instance, pre-teens and younger teenagers are not physically ready to be accurately categorized.
Given that most athletes are going to fall into the 28 inches and under range, what does that bode for their future in competitive sports? Will they be at a competitive disadvantage? Should they simply drop out if they are at the lower end of the spectrum? Is being in the above average category a guarantee for success? Most importantly, is there anything that can be done to improve individual measurement numbers?
Answers: unknown but to be determined; possibly; not at all; also not at all; yes definitely.
Certainly there is a lot more to being a successful athlete than a big vertical. Just as certainly, a big vertical can be a distinct advantage that is difficult to contend with when in direct competition. So what are the options for athletes across the board.
Stick with what you have got and live with the results: good, bad or indifferent.
If you have an average or below average vertical, lament your disadvantage and use it as your fall back excuse when unsuccessful in the competitive arena.
Decide to put yourself in the above average or beyond category and use the competitive advantages thereof to become a more consistent winner.
Stop and consider this outcome for just one moment. If you could add a minimum of ten inches to your vertical jump reach, would you do it even if it required to focus and work on it for a couple of months? How about if that kind of outcome was guaranteed?
Think of it like this. If you currently jump reach 22" it would become 32". Or 26" would become 36". In either case, you would be jumping higher than the average NBA player. Would that be worth a little hard work?
Even better, say your current vertical is 17" which is in the poor category. Ten inches later you would be at 27" or just on the borderline of very good. How about that for a dramatic improvement? How much of a difference would that make in your competitive abilities?
The bottom line is simple, virtually any athlete can dramatically elevate their vertical jump numbers. Why athletes now will work so hard for small gains when proper training will guarantee huge improvement is a bit of a mystery. Not to mention a waste of a lot of time and energy.
Because training is readily available to achieve big results, the link below is provided so that the reader can review one such outstanding program. Regardless of your current category moving up a couple of levels on the vertical scale is easily within reach. In the end, the question is this: what would hold you back?

FROM 1-10, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF BUSINESS STARTUP SUCCESS?
Notably, there is more than one answer. The type of business must be considered in the formulation of any kind of semi-accurate reply.
For example, getting into the restaurant business has a low chance of success. Opening a McDonald's however has a high chance of success should the huge franchise fee amount paid up front be available without strings attached.
Many in the world of small business will say that it is all about location, location, location. Others will insist that the bottom line is cash flow. With good cash flow comes a better chance of success, without it comes almost assured failure.
In other words the variables are numerous and there is almost no one shoe fits all answer. One thing for sure is that regardless of the what, where, when, who and how factors in getting into business, there is risk. Success cannot be guaranteed in the free market.
Having gotten all of that established it is now time to kick this matter into reverse, back up a bit and acknowledge that there is a low risk way to get into business that brings with it a reasonably high opportunity for success.
The cash costs for starting are very low. The sweat equity however is much higher. Like all businesses, you have to put in your time and make a meaningful effort.
Location is not a factor. You can be physically located wherever you choose and you can do business with customers or clients almost anywhere.
Because start-up and ongoing overhead is low, cash flow is generally not an issue other than possibly in the first 90 days. But the emphasis here is that with little cash out, even those first 90 days are very manageable.
It is a learn as you go business for those with no particular expertise to begin with and a great business for those who bring some experience to the table. The training required is not complicated and is available whenever it is needed. Because it is self paced, it can be done quickly or spread out over time.
Importantly, it is a business that supplies all of the resources necessary to succeed. Additionally, mentoring is provided along with access to others involved in the same industry who can supply a never ending list of best practices. Thus a newbie is not the lone ranger. There is plenty of assistance and endless help resources available at every turn.
But do not be side tracked into thinking this business is a lock. Just like every other kind of market place endeavor, there are no guarantees. You can fail at this just like you can at anything else.
In this case however, the risk of failure is greatly diminished. In fact, if you bring the determination to see the job through to this business on the front end and just stick with it until you make the progress required, there is almost no chance of failure.
Needless to say, just like anywhere else, you cannot be easily discouraged or tempted to quit. That would guarantee failure. Staying on track will in most all cases lead to a successful business start-up.

STARVING OFF FAT
After all, it does seem like a reasonable and workable idea. If we eat a lot less, we should lose weight. Do the math: if you burn one thousand calories in a day where you only consume eight hundred calories, you should be losing weight.
There can be no doubt that pursuing a starvation diet will cause your body to shed the pounds. For example, just think of all the photos we have all seen of people who are starving in some far away part of the world. They are clearly skinny, without doubt caused by not eating much.
That is most certainly one way to get slimmer but it will not get anyone who does it healthier. In fact, it will damage their health, most often permanently.
Starvation dieting is a very bad decision on so many different levels. As mentioned, it can and usually does negatively impact health. Do it long enough and it will lead to death. Short of that it can do permanent damage to internal organs and systems that shortens life spans and degrades the quality of life.
Keep in mind that the body has it's own built in defenses against starvation. The fact is that our fat stores are among the last things that the body exposes to the impact of starvation. Ironically, the first reaction our body has to being starved, besides slowing us down, is to begin to feed on itself.
The human body runs on protein and when there is not enough protein ingested, it begins to eat the protein available internally. That would be for instance muscle flesh. All the while the body continues to protect the fat store for use later if necessary.
Thus we lose protein weight first, followed slowly by fat stores last. Notably, most internal organs are also made up of protein and therefore subject to consumption as well. As you can imagine, this process is not a good thing. Starvation dieting is both wrong headed and quite dangerous. Losing our health in an effort to lose weight is simply brain dead behavior.
Everyone interested in losing weight knows there are a million diets available that claim to lead to a more perfect body. Most all of them, thank goodness, do not involve starvation. There are a few things to avoid in the diet world however and mention of those follows.
As emphasized so far, do not go on a starvation diet. Weight loss should be good for health as opposed to a threat to our long term well being.
If a diet requires taking pills or drinking something from the jungles of the Amazon, move on to a better place. Ingesting chemicals, natural or manufactured, to lose weight is another shortcut to diminished health.
Avoid gimmick diets that emphasize some sort of amazing process. That would include for instance a water diet or no white food regimen. This stuff is pure silliness.
There are also the pre packaged foods diets or the fat burning exercise equipment that are widely advertised. At least these will not be dangerous to your health but both can be very expensive and require a lot of self discipline. Not a bad thing but also not necessary.
The best way to go is to keep the weight loss process easy, simple and good for you. No starvation, no pills, no gimmicks and nothing that puts you in the poor house.
Get into a diet program that provides you with a wide variety of menus based upon foods that you like to eat. Doing so lessens the need to force yourself to stick to it.
Get a diet program that utilizes the natural fat burning processes in our bodies so that fat will be targeted and greatly eliminated.
Get a diet program that provides every resource necessary to strip away the excess fat weight so that you do not have to try and figure out what needs to get done. Look for an easy step by step weight loss system.
Of course, make it a program that has a low, one time cost so that there are no ongoing expenses and no need to go out and purchase other specialty items to make the diet work.
For a perfect example of what works, click on the following link and review what has proved to be a very successful dieting system. Find what works in your world and in the process, avoid starvation and the other negative factors mentioned previously. Most importantly, keep it simple and easy.

WHICH EXERCISE BEST INCREASES VERTICAL JUMP?
Some claim that squats, or certain variations of squats, are the most important exercise around to build up vertical hops. Many include additional weight room routines as well but the big focus when it comes to weight lifting is squats, according to those on that side of the discussion.
Others insist that plyometric jump training is by far the most valuable exercise regimen in order to grow vertical leap. What is noteworthy about these claimants is there appears to be a lot of disagreement among them as to exactly how to go about doing plyos properly.
Let us not forget the jump rope crowd who see skipping away as the best possible exercise leading to better hops.
Not to be overlooked is the just plain jump up and down group. Naturally there are a number of specific drills involved but this claim centers on the physical act of jumping. The more you jump, the better jumper you become goes the thinking.
There is also those who are very much into buying and selling specialty equipment that will insure that you jump better. Such things as jump shoes and jumping platforms are just two of the variety of jump development products out there.
All of this and more leaves athletes who wish to jump higher basically dazed and confused. With so many answers, where is the truth?
The fact is that the truth lies within some of those claims but not entirely with any of them. The best place to start is to recognize that there is no magic pill, no shortcut, no secret to really growing vertical jump. All of the above can be of some help. None of the above, taken by itself, will grow leaping skills in any really meaningful way.
Each idea mentioned requires work yet none of them done separately provides big time, eye popping results. In other words, the athlete devotes lots of time to do all of the work proposed and only gains partial improvements. That does not seem like the intelligent way to go.
So let us cut to the chase in this matter. Only a comprehensive jump development program that incorporates all the necessary science, knowledge of the human body and well established expertise can lead to major jump development.
There are nine separate areas in jump improvement that must be addressed and practiced to add the big numbers to jump reach. When addressed, adding ten inches to a vertical is not unusual. In fact, it is guaranteed.
Additionally, it is necessary to work with an expert who has trained lots of other athletes to jump much higher and has a well established record of success. Such one on one mentoring in the jump development process is essential.
Importantly, a valid training program cannot be dependent upon access to a certain kind of facility or designated specialty equipment. To be of any value, a quality program will include all of the alternative methods to accomplish the same end results that everyone else in the program can or has achieved. Requiring specific equipment is a deal killer for a lot of athletes.
In summary, the bottom line is that there is no one exercise that will lead to maximum jump improvement. Almost any single exercise will help but only a comprehensive program that includes all nine factors associated with the physical act of jumping will increase your hops by ten inches or more.
Think about it. What would another ten inches on your vertical leap do for you in your sport of choice? What are the advantages to be gained? How much better and more valuable would you become?
To review one of the best comprehensive vertical jump improvement programs ever, just click on the link that follows and consider what it can do for you. With a little focus and a lot of work, everyone around you will be stunned by your way better hops.

BUILD A WEB SITE FOR A BUSINESS
The paradigm has shifted and the more traditional ways of doing business are quickly fading off the radar of consumers. Ignoring or abhorring technology equates to being left behind in the parking lot while those doing business online have already left the terminal.
The future is all about what the world wide web brings to the table in terms of competing in the free market. The old methods of advertising are fading fast. Customers prefer the convenience of online shopping to the ever increasing hassle and expense of traveling to a brick and mortar business location.
The number of prospective customers in the immediate area around a business location pales in comparison to the shopping audience online. The web numbers are exponentially larger.
To be off line in today's world of commerce is to be guaranteed that a business will fall behind the curve and only fade back even further as time passes.
The web offers marketing, sales, service, information and communication opportunities that heretofore have simply not existed. The future promises even more of the same with an even greater emphasis on speed and convenience.
So if you have a company that is not on the Internet, now is the time to catch the wave of the future. Without it the competition will become even tougher. With it, a business can grow and prosper in ways not otherwise possible.
The options available to build a web site and create an online presence basically boil down to two possibilities. First, hire it done. Second, do it yourself. Consider the pros and cons of both.
Paying a service has clear pluses. Find the right provider and you get instant expertise and a polished finished product. The downsides are obvious. Hire the wrong provider and, as is the case with anything else, you will not get anything that is anywhere near your money's worth.
In either case, it will cost a bundle and unless you can deal with the inevitable glitches and break downs in house, the ongoing expenses can be quite high.
More significantly, you can easily become dependent on that outside resource which may or may not be reliable, dependable or, for that matter, even remain in business. Under such conditions, when your supplier fails, you fail.
The do it yourself option keeps you in the self reliant category and keeps your expenses down at a minimum level. Thus when something needs to be done it can be attended to quickly and inexpensively.
On the other hand, if you do not, as is the case with most folks, have any expertise on web site design, creation and maintenance, it will require some time and focus to get there. In other words, you will have to learn how to do the required tasks yourself.
That can become problematic in terms of finding the right provider that teaches the basics and also supplies the resources necessary to get the job done. All along doing so in an easy to understand manner and at minimal cost.
When going this route, look for an established resource that is available online, provides all of the support required to get your questions answered, includes access to others doing the same work so that best practices can be shared, has web hosting, provides a user friendly step by step web site builder, has links to the most helpful Internet sites for add ons and can provide testimonials as well as examples of actual, functioning successful operations.
At the end of the day, do what works best in your setting. There are plenty of people for hire who can do the work for you. But if you are independent minded and prefer to be self reliant, an example of an excellent learning resource is linked below. Click on that link and see what you think.
But most importantly, do not get left behind. Start a web site for your business now. The longer you delay, the more you fall behind the curve. See you online.

THE BEST WAY TO NATURALLY ELIMINATE HUNGER PANGS
If we are to get a permanent handle on this cycle so as to be slimmer and healthier, we will need to do something about those pesky hunger pangs. If we do not address our feelings of hunger, we will end up living, or more accurately dying, with that killer fat. Not a good outcome.
The battle to stay at a healthy body weight seems to get tougher as we age. Our metabolism slows, we tend to be more sedentary and our appetites either remain the same or maybe even get bigger. None of that is helpful.
All of this brings us face to face with a hard reality. To live healthier lives we need to find ways to control our appetites and diminish our desire to over indulge. In order to fight off fat accumulation or, as is often the case, reduce our existing body fat content and stimulate healthy weight loss, we are obliged to address our hunger pangs. This needs to be done in a natural, easy to accomplish manner.
So exactly what can we do about controlling this cycle to achieve and maintain proper body weight? What follows are a few common sense ways to conquer this problem.
Eat smaller portions of food, more frequently during the day. Make what is a three meal a day routine into a five or six smaller meal per day routine. Become more of a grazer.
Consume foods that you like to eat but in amounts that not only no longer contribute to body fat production, but in fact stimulate the natural fat burning process within our bodies. Knowledge and understanding of this reality goes a long way.
Make sure that you allow for a variety of menus so that you do not tire of your daily fare and give up on a proper diet as a result. This idea is more important than it may appear on the surface but it does make a difference.
It never hurts to have a calorie guide handy that can give you the approximate calorie content of most all commonly consumed foods. That way, when you have a food item that you want to get a specific handle on, you can do so easily and make appropriate adjustments.
Needless to say, it is always a good thing if you can work a good amount of fresh fruits and vegetables into your daily diet. Naturally, most of us are not vegetarians and have little if any interest in converting to that routine. But the truth is, as mother always said, it is good to eat your vegetables (and fruit).
Having said all of this, one thing is glaringly obvious. There is some science and some research involved with these guidelines that most of us have neither the time nor the inclination to pursue. Given the importance to battle our food cravings and stay healthy, what are we to do about that? Give up on the entire idea?
Hardly. The next step is probably the most significant one in this entire process. Rather than attempt to take on this weight control task all by our lonesomes, we would be well advised to get some assistance and support from a well established resource.
Specifically, what we require is a diet system that provides a huge variety of menus composed of the foods we like to eat, in portions that satisfy our cravings and on a schedule that keeps us satiated. Additionally, it ought to include a calorie guide for reference and, notably, the entire program should be very affordable.
That way we can acquire the professional guidance and assistance to not only eat properly but to stimulate our natural fat burning processes. The end result: no more hunger pangs and a slimmer, healthier body. Makes sense.
The link below is provided to supply an example of one such diet program that meets the criteria as previously listed. Review it to get a sense of what constitutes a practical and successful diet regimen. Best wishes for long life and good health.

CAN SHORT ATHLETES REALLY BE LEAPERS?
It is not unusual in basketball for instance for shorter players to on the one hand want to dunk but on the other hand not believe it is possible because of their height. Bunk.
The same thing applies to volleyball players who just do not believe they can be power spikers or strong defensive shot blockers because they are too short. Not true.
This reality also applies to athletes in soccer, football, track and a variety of other sports where participants give up on some of their dreams because they are not as tall as other competitors.
So make sure to get this very straight up front: being a major leaper is unrelated to how far the top of your head is from the bottom of your feet. Virtually anyone can develop an impressive and useful vertical jump if they really wish to do so and are willing to do the work required.
For you hoopers, how else can you explain someone like Spud Webb being a major league dunker. After all, he was way too short to dunk. But he was blessed with major hops and he refined those enough to become a renown dunker in of all places, the NBA.
Not so blessed you will say. Well of course not, very few human beings are that fortunate. But you do not have to be blessed to earn your way to the top, so to speak. At the end of the day, being able to jump over and above your opponents in football, soccer, volleyball or basketball is just flat a major advantage be it as a defender or as an offensive player.
In basketball, how much more valuable can you be to your team as a shot blocker, offensive and defensive rebounder or as a power slam finisher if you have much better hops?
In soccer, what is the importance of jumping over opponents to head a ball, knock down a pass or block a shot on goal when you have a much higher leap?
Or in football, why not as a receiver be able to jump up over the defender to catch a pass? Conversely as a defender how about being able to jump high enough to block receptions? How important can that be with a game on the line?
And of course as mentioned earlier, the value of a much higher vertical jump to spike or block shots in volleyball is self explanatory.
An athlete can pretty much pick a sport and being able to jump significantly higher has great value to both the individual and to their teams. Just to add one more, how about the difference that can be achieved in track and field? There is no end to the list.
Height is not the important factor. Actually, it really is not a factor at all. What it takes to become a leaper includes the following (note no mention of tallness).
A burning desire to get there.
An attitude that it can be done (which of course it can).
A powerful willingness to do the work required. Not easy to do of course, but it is what is necessary to achieve elite jump status.
The right regimen based upon scientific principles as well as tested and proved information and techniques. Obviously, a major improvement requires a comprehensive program and not just something simple like ankle weights or a leather jump rope.
The commitment to see the training through from start to finish.
Bring these factors to the table and you will in fact become a much higher vertical jumper. The link that follows will take you to a comprehensive program that guarantees a ten inch improvement in your vertical leap or it will double your money back. Not bad when you think about it.
The sky is the limit, figuratively, when it comes to developing better hops and having a hair line that is closer to that sky to begin with has nothing to do with achieving big time outcomes. Will we see you up where the air, and the companionship, is rare?

BEST START-UP BUSINESS FOR UNDER $10K
The straight answer is, not all that many. Buying an existing business requires large amounts of capital. Getting into a franchise opportunity can be very expensive as well depending upon what one is looking to do. There are some franchises that can be bought for under ten thousand dollars but that is just the franchise fee alone. The business start-up costs must be added in on top of that, leaving that under $10k guideline far behind.
The fact is that most business opportunities require that the interested party take the full plunge into the shark infested waters of beginning a business. There are few chances to wade into the water a step at a time so that current income streams can be maintained until the new business generates enough revenue to support the owner.
Additionally, starting a business can be a complicated venture. There is a seemingly endless line of tasks and arrangements that must be made before getting started, let alone before a new operation will actually generate income. Worse yet, it is very likely that it will take at least a year or often even longer to generate even the smallest of profits.
After all, the open market place is a very competitive environment, even when everyone plays by the rules. The fact is, there is no free lunch and starting a business requires lots of time and sweat equity. Free markets by their nature offer anyone the opportunity to do business. But at the same time, those same free markets are loaded with others seeking to make a profit as well. Lots of them will be in the industry and the business sector that you choose.
All of which brings us to the point of considering what kind of business can be done for less than ten grand, offers a chance to wade into the water rather than make the all out leap and can turn a profit, even with plenty of competition, sometime within the first six months of operation.
When you know what to look for, those kinds of opportunities are not only possible but they are immediately available. The key is to identify the business characteristics that fit. What follows are a few to keep an eye out for when searching for prospects.
Obviously, look for low cost ventures. There is no need to break the bank to get started.
Get into something that is an established niche and not some off the wall idea or some total scam.
Find a business with a track record of success that includes valid documentation of real and honest results.
Notably, avoid anything that leaves you stranded on a desert island. If there is no training or support available, steer clear. Being the lone ranger when starting a business makes zero sense. Help at the beginning is critical, especially without established expertise on hand.
To maximize profit potential, you need to do something that addresses a very large market segment. Appealing to a small audience, particularly when there is already established competition in place, is a recipe for unnecessary hardship if not failure.
If your choices require that everything you are doing now must be left behind, be very careful. It is far better for your fiscal, not to mention mental, health to be able to maintain current income levels in the short run as you build your business so that your back is not forced against the survival wall before having a reasonable chance to succeed. In other words get into a business that allows you to wade in gradually.
Is it actually possible to find a business that meets all of these criteria? Absolutely and without doubt. A link is provide below to one such business that will give you the desired profile.
Keep in mind that the sooner you find the right opportunity and get started, the better established you will be as others decide to catch this wave. It never hurts to take advantage of an advantage.
