Most anyone paying the slightest attention to the Tea Party phenomenon has an awareness of the story regarding the CNN reporterette who is the subject of the article that follows. It all provides further insight into the mindset of much of the American Obamedia.
Most print and electronic reporting falls into the general category of the adoring, whoring Obamedia. The bias towards the President is nothing short of spectacular. In this instance, the woman with the microphone was not reporting, she was advocating.
Any pretense of being a fourth estate watch dog over government and politicians is out the window relative to Barack Obama. As the phrase so commonly used these days states, the media is "in the tank" for the Obama administration.
That is the value of this CNN story. The agenda driven Obamedia reporterette has her story line set in advance and she will not tolerate any variation from her self created "truth". Thus she cannot tolerate a response to her question by someone in the crowd she chose as her shill. When the interviewee starts to make his point, she cuts him off and commences to answer her own question the way she wanted it answered in the first place.
That is the state of much of the modern "news" Obamedia. In this case, when the respondent failed to provide the appropriate reply, the "reporter" (actually a partisan advocate) went into a rant about the event being anti-CNN, fully inspired by the likes of Fox News.
The comment by a Fox News spokesperson, when saying "Judging by their lack of ratings, everyone seems to be anti-CNN", was precious and right on point. Further, the corresponding ratings for Fox News on Tea Party day experienced a massive surge as Americans tuned in to get the news of the day. So much for the significance and impact of the big biased Obamedia.
The role of the press in a democratic republic like ours is critically important. For much of our history, the media has at least attempted to play a somewhat balanced role and often provided a check on political or governmental malfeasance.
Not so with the Obamedia today.
CNN Reporter at Chicago Tea Party: It's "Anti-CNN Since This is Highly Promoted By the Right-Wing, Conservative Network Fox"
CNN correspondent Susan Roesgen could barely get through her live shot at the Chicago tea party this afternoon. Over shouts of, "You're not a reporter," Roesgen quickly wrapped up an interview with an attendee, then said, "I think you get the general tenor of this. It's anti-government, anti-CNN since this is highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox."
A Fox News spokesperson responds to TVNewser, "Judging by their lack of ratings, everyone seems to be anti-CNN."
• More: FNC's Shepard Smith responds in his own inimitable way on Studio B: "I've just learned it's Anti-CNN day. I know, right? I had no freakin' clue." Later: "Just a minute ago, that Susan Roesgen, from that CNN, that people used to watch a long time ago..." And still later: "Anti-CNN? Who's anti-CNN, settle down Susan! Come on girl." And even later: "Poor Susan Roesgen, nobody hates you, everybody ... we love the CNN. Relax everybody. Don't get your hate on."

• Official CNN response about Roesgen's comments from spokesperson Christa Robinson: "She was doing her job, and called it like she saw it."

The mainstream media wouldn’t do it. So we are trying to get your important messages to the American people. This post is a suggested read at, http://aresay.blogspot.com/ 7
CNN LOVES Obama; he can do no wrong-- They have him bopping around with his dog and showing the fist lady reading to kids giggling; when does the real reporting start, I ask? CNN went out of its way to portray Bush in the worst way possible so I am not surprised by this CNN reporter at the Tea Party.
VH-
As the quote in the article notes, CNN's ratings are so low it could be said that almost everyone is anti-CNN. They earned that status given that they used to be at the top of the cable news food chain.
